NIMOS
The main purpose of Network Infrastructure Management & Order
Provisioning System (NIMOS) is to get the orders from the Apostek
customers through the XMLOrderEntrySystem (XOES).There is an accounting
team which collects the orders from the customers and enters into the
XOES which is then stored in the XOES database and also published to the
OVS (Order Validation System) for further processing.
This project is basically for the provisioning of internet services to
the Apostek clients. This project consists of Account team who collects
the orders and enters into the XOES through the GUI.
The orders are then stored into the XOES database in XML format with a
specific publication code to denote it as an unpublished order.
A scheduler then picks up all the unpublished order and puts on to a JMS
queue hosted by the OVS. This scheduler is a java program which runs
continuously every two minutes. Once the order is sent to the JMS the
flag value is changed to mark it as a published order.
